Being confident is something a lot of people struggle with.  Whether it's something they're wearing, or just within themselves. My personal keys to how I keep my confidence, stem from being realistic with whatever I am struggling in. I am not the most confident person in the world but I try my best so that, that energy reflects on to whomever else is struggling. Back to being realistic, it's kind of like implementing 'think positive.' Ultimately, you can think positive things to feel or be confident but that won't nearly do as much as being realistic with yourself.

For example, something I am very insecure about but try to embrace is my forehead. Realistically it is big and the more I realize that it won't get any smaller in size; and the more I am insecure about it, is the more confident I grow within accepting it and embracing. And this because I am choosing to be realistic with myself. Rather than being positive where I can say "oh, my forehead is beautiful," although I truthfully wouldn't think that because that is not how I see it. Using the practice of being positive can in fact be helpful/benefit, but in some scenarios, you must be realistic FIRST. It is training your mind to notice these obvious things you dislike about yourself or something. And letting that perception sit there and simmer will allow for growth in your confidence because you know these things aren't changeable unless you change how you view it. Positivity practice kind of masks the truth in some ways. This is because it's not a 'NOW' situation, it's speaking more into the future. A specific key is obviously to be present and aware. This is especially true when it comes to bodily insecurities. Like sure you might have a goal for yourself or would want things a certain way but it's more effective if you start with realism within yourself. This will help you become comfortable in whatever situation you're needing confidence in. After that, it should be easy to incorporate positivity into the equation.

I've learned a lot from being realistic. I would say it's benefitting me because I have a different take on the predicaments, I land in. Although I have a ways way to go with my confidence, I always go for the token! I always try to be that person that stands out, especially in my friend group. I always encourage people around me to just do it! Do whatever you want with no regrets, don't care what anyone thinks, and do it for you. As an additive, I have always been pretty outspoken and blunt. I have always been unapologetically me! I believe that is another thing that boosts my self-esteem and confidence. That is why I push that energy onto my peers, friends, and whoever else because I love seeing us overcome things.

But to end this talk on a great note, I hope we all can someday reach a high level of confidence and spread our ways; and love ourselves, or love what we're doing/being.

P.S. Don't forget to take those stunning pictures and feel flawless doing! :)
