Fall has approached but now Winter is amongst us; and it is the perfect time to research what is trending this season. There are so many trends and styles that I am personally excited to try out! I love seeing how different everyone will incorporate fashion, each year around this time. Luckily, the falls here can be cool/warm, while the winters are...well, Winter. Living in the Midwest, I can wear almost anything in this season and get away with it.

Anyway, here are my top 5 favorites below.

Leather boots: I've noticed combat boots are making their way back onto the market, and I'm super excited! As someone who has worn them so many times in the past, it's a great comeback. I've been leaning toward more of the platform combat boots because I love the thickness. I usually pair mine with a knit top, or an all-black outfit. You can never go wrong with all black!

Mom Jeans: Mom jeans, baggy jeans, and boyfriend jeans are a very popular item around this time. I love how loose fitted they are and can be worn with almost anything. I typically pair mine with a crop top to proportion my outfit. Since they are baggy, you want to have less up top to make the outfit pop!

Flannel: Flannels are the epitome of Fall and Winter. These can be paired with almost anything, simply because it is a great add on. When your outfit is plain, a flannel can even that out; it adds razzle dazzle. Even when your outfit has a lot going on, a flannel is still a great addition to your piece.

Oversized Tee: I know you're thinking an overly big shirt can be annoying and not feel stylish at all. However, oversized tees can be a LOOK in itself. Oversized tees can be paired with baggy jeans to give off an urban look, or they can be paired with some jean shorts. These are so versatile and will change your whole realm of outfits. Word of advice: Keep any worn out/old tees because those are the best to wear when wanting this look!

Carpet pants: The infamous 'Carpet' pants you've all been waiting for. These pants were broadcasted earlier in 2021 and have been a hit ever since. It's actually pretty difficult to get a hold these pants, as many of them are crafted by hand and self-made (which we love). I, myself have not purchased a pair quite yet but it's a MUST before the year is over.

These aren't even half the of the trends flowing around at the moment but remember it's always best to be your OWN trend and start your own trends. Be comfortable in what you think is stylish! Be expressive, be creative, and explore your options of clothing. Style comes from personal preference, not the trendiest pieces! <3
